Michael Ivanciu represents clients in real estate transactions in both New York and New Jersey. As part of his real estate practice, Mr. Ivanciu represents both sellers and buyers of bank owned real estate property transactions. Mr. Ivanciu also represents clients in short sale transactions in addition to customary residential, cooperative, and condominium transactions. Mr. Ivanciu’s real estate practice also incorporates landlord tenant matters. He has represented both landlords and tenants in both summary proceedings and holdover actions. Alongside his landlord tenant practice, Mr. Ivanciu has drafted winning appellate level briefs defending appeals from trials held at the Housing Court.
Furthermore, Mr. Ivanciu’s law practice extends to Surrogate’s Court proceedings in both New York and New Jersey. He has successfully proven kinship for international clients in administrative proceedings for high value estates.
Finally, Mr. Ivanciu’s law practice also extends to general civil and criminal litigation matters, in both state court and Federal court, to include appeals.
Mr. Ivanciu is an officer in the New York Army National Guard. He has over 18 years of military service, enlisting shortly after graduating from high school in 1999.
Mr. Ivanciu is a 2010 graduate of the St. John’s University School of Law. In addition, he has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University.
